The Basics

Hola, Guten Tag, Ni Hao, Bonjour, and hello. I'm Dopo! I am the creator of this website.

I guess a little bit about myself: I'm currently a senior in highschool who lives in Pennsylvania, and desperately wants to leave the state. I'm planning to major in computer science, specifically game development, and maybe minor in political science? I dont know.

The best way to describe me is that I am basically the definition of Chaotic Neutral. I do stuff because my mind finds it funny for some reason. Part of this is probally because I have autism, also probally because I've built up multiple layers of irony around my lack of self-esteem and social skills to protect my feelings.

If you cant tell my me using neo-pronouns and having a strange name, I am queer. Specifically Trans. Even more specifically non-binary. My pronouns are they/xe/she (in order of how much I prefer them). Im also a chronic asexual, demi-sexual and maybe bi or pan? Still figuring out that last part. Either way, trans right are human rights

How I got the name

This is something that only llike, 5 people know, but I want to share it because I know my name is wierd, but I got my name WAY WAY back in 2017. There was a youtuber (that I still watch from time to time) called MovieUnleashers, and one of their origonal charactesr was called "Dopo." So, me being obsessed with them at the time, decided to steal the name for my fursona that I was creating at the time. (The modern iteration of xir is "Lief", the snake lad constantly featured on this website)

Anywho, I got attached to my fursona, as it helped me figure out I was non-binary, asexual, and demi-romantic, and since I wanted to rename myself, I just plucked the name from my fursona, since it was basically just a version of myself

But yea, thats how I got the name. Bit of a long tangent, but its something that I wish more people knew about me.

Hobbies/Interests

Im a furry. Yeah, I know, theres a stigma around it, but most furries are extremely chill and just like to draw anthropormorphic animals. I am just that. I just like to draw anthro's because I hate drawing humans. Infact, I just kind of hate humans in general.

Just like most furries, I am an artist. Im not the next picasso or anything, but I like to think Im a solid 5 to a 6/10. And just like a lot of other furries, I am a HUGE comp-sci nerd. I mean, I literally said I was planning to go to college for it. I've grown up around the internet and technology, a majority of the ladder half of the 2010's was just me going on scratch and making really weird and awful games, I've learned Python (I forgot most of it though), C, C++, and I am currently learning Java in school, and C# out of school.

I love animation, specifically cartoon network and adult swim. I also love indie animation(Im one of the very few gen-z kids who regularly browzes newgrounds).

I'm into TTRPG's, even though the only one I have touched is DnD. I've been getting extremely obsessive with Magic the Gathering as of late. I also love me a good metroidvania, platformer, RPG (Im a huge fan of pokemon, even though the more recent games kind of suck ass), and weird indie games.

Some stuff that people (rightfully) dont assume I like, but I do are: Boyscouts (slacking on my eagle project at the moment), cooking, swimming, gardening, and Survivor (I'm a superfan to the point that my favorite season is Gabon, the most trainwrecky of trainwrecks).
